About Me
My name is Suzanne and I want to thank you for dropping by my blog. I am going to be very honest…..I intend to use this blog as therapy. As a person that is driven with passion; I like to set goals and achieve them. My newest passion is using FibroMomBlog to increase community building and advocacy. Besides being a wife and mother of three beautiful children ages 22, 16 and 9, I am also a psychology student working towards my BA. I discovered that what was missing in my life was a connection with the chronic illness community. So, that is how FibroMomBlog was born.
In my blog you will learn about my journey with Fibromyalgia and other illnesses. I have learned so many ways I can personally modify my activities so that I can still accomplish my goals! How will FibroMomBlog increase community building? In my blog posts you will find comfort in that you are not alone in:
- the challenges of marriage,
- raising kids,
- working full-time,
- and working towards big goals (like going back to school as an adult).
About FibroMomBlog
FibroMomBlog represents all of us with an invisible chronic illness. Here you will find a voice for those that feel they don’t have one. This is a work in progress for me and I intend to grow this blog as I grow. Community building and advocacy is important to me. I feel these two things are the key to my growth, as well as the growth of the chronic illness community.
Looking for support with either your physical or mental chronic illness? You can find that in my online Facebook group The Chronically Strong Warriors.
